Did you choose print or did print choose you?
I was actually Pre-Law at Georgia Southern University as I had always imagined myself as an attorney. However, the curriculum was not keeping me engaged as it should. I searched out other options and discovered Printing Management at GSU and never looked back. It all just clicked for me. In my final year, I was making Dean’s List so I knew I had found a place. So…I chose print and I have never been disappointed.
How do you establish credibility with customers, colleagues and bosses?
I think being a good listener has helped establish my credibility among my peers. We have two ears and one mouth so common sense tells you to listen more than you speak. Listening helps me become a better problem solver. I solve problems big and small for my clients. Listen to what is being asked and provide follow through and the rest will be resolved.
In 50 words or less tell us your mission for elevating Print this year.
I will continue my quest to bring the latest in innovation to my clients. I was told by those outside our industry print would be dead with the invention of the web. This couldn’t have been further from the truth. Our industry has had tremendous success in bringing new ideas and innovations to our clients to help strengthen their brands. I am excited each day to help my clients understand those technologies. It never gets old!
