Please share advice for young women considering or starting a career in print… Which includes design, sales, marketing, and all jobs within.

My advice to any woman considering a career in print is to find a company that aligns closely with your core values. Do your research – check out their website and social media pages and see what they are about! One of the things that drew me into the industry was finding Grit and seeing how they really put honesty and integrity at the forefront of their business in everything that they do.

How have mentors helped your personal and career development?

Mentors have always been a big part of my career development. No matter how much you think you know, there’s always more to learn. It’s always nice to have a certain person that you can fall back on with questions or just to talk about current events in the industry. I don’t have a specific mentor just yet in the print industry – but once I complete my training, I hope to connect with someone that is willing to mentor me!
