Adilia Coleman  Owner Partner and Financial Director The Works

What does empowerment mean to you as a woman in printing?

Means being a business owner in a small environment, overcoming the challenges not only in moving to a new country but also working in a new field. I fell in love with printing and can speak the lingo!

Can you share a moment in your career when you felt truly empowered?

Five years after we started the business, to look at the growth – starting with the printing of business cards and letterheads to full signage, events, car branding, flags, etc!

What resources or programs have helped you grow in your career that you would recommend to young women?

Attending printing exhibitions, workshops, constantly looking for ways to better my skills even if it means travelling!
