What does empowerment mean to you as a woman in printing?
Empowerment to me is breaking down barriers. I can’t help but love the look on men’s face when they realise, I know what I am talking about! Printing is such a predominantly male-occupied field, the stereotype is real, I feel powerful knowing I am part of the change.
Can you share a moment in your career when you felt truly empowered?
When I hosted my first print education experience. Teaching clients how paper is made and what it takes to produce specific jobs. Knowledge is power.
What resources or programs have helped you grow in your career that you would recommend to young women?
Imposition Wizard has been a life saver for me, finding software that works to cut down lead time and automate the process. It helped me understand impositions and to create manual custom ones when required.
