Please share advice for young women considering or starting a career in print… Which includes design, sales, marketing, and all jobs within.

Remember that your career is a journey. When you get started in the industry, you start building experience and expertise through your job responsibilities, but also from mentors, continued education, and experience. Pay attention to where your strengths and talent thrive to identify what you’re truly passionate about and you can put that same determination from your early career growth toward that newly identified “dream” role. Lastly, take advantage of every opportunity to expand your knowledge, network, learn from your peers, and demonstrate your expertise through the work you do daily and how you help others.

How have mentors helped your personal and career development?

Mentors have helped me on my career path by providing guidance and setting examples through their work ethic and dedication. When I was apprehensive about charging ahead, they provided me with the support and encouragement to move forward. Mentors are our allies, who see our strengths and set us on a path to take advantage of the opportunities related to our strengths and expand on them.
