Know your worth, that is something that I’ve reminded myself ever since my very first job. Believe in yourself!
How have mentors helped your personal and career development?
I do believe it is necessary to have a support squad, like my sales coach, my female sales colleagues, as well as my CSR. Without the help and encouragement from all of them I wouldn’t be able to do my job. It was important for me to be able to connect with my coworkers so I could learn and have others to go to for advice being new in the industry.
My father has been in an executive sales role his entire career. I seek advice from him as well, he reminds me to “be your own solution”. I think as a female this advice has taken me far, everyone can interpret it differently. I have applied it to my personal life as well as my career.
