What do you do?
I currently work in the textile industry, specializing in the artistic area of printing. My educational background is in chemistry, and I’m actively seeking opportunities in digital textile printing. Additionally, I’m keen on exploring roles as a teacher in digital printing process with reactive, acids dyes and pigments and graphic design.
What investments have you made in your professional career development?
In my search of professional growth, I’ve made consistent investments. I’ve participated in various internships and attended prestigious expos centered around digital printing in Italy, the USA, Colombia and New Delhi. Furthermore, I explore my passion for technical textiles by contributing to blogs and writing articles specifically tailored to the Peruvian market.
What investments have you made in your personal development?
I have recognized the important role of soft skills in leadership and personal development; I have dedicated myself to continuous personal growth. I’ve undertaken courses in excellence, well-being, and mindfulness, which equip me with the tools to navigate the complexities of daily life with resilience.
How can the industry proactively invest in women, and why should this be a priority?
The industry must prioritize investments in women’s advancement. Establishing mentorship programs that connect senior professionals with emerging female leaders is key. By fostering such mentorship opportunities, we enrich the participation of women in the industry, thereby enhancing diversity, innovation, and overall success.
