What investments have you made in your personal development?
Short course in coaching and life skills ( not a certified coach though)
Known for my unwavering drive, integrity, and relentless pursuit of excellence, I thrive in environments where I can make a tangible impact. My entrepreneurial spirit fuels my desire to challenge the status quo, explore new opportunities, and drive transformative growth. Having owned a company for five years, discipline in any role was fundamental. Alongside this, I practiced the skill of endurance through the most difficult of times. As a single parent of three, resilience and empathy have become second nature, whilst balancing work and personal life.
How can the industry proactively invest in women, and why should this be a priority?
Women innately have a built-in desire to secure relationships, through their nurturing skills. These skills cultivate strong bonds with peers and customers alike.
We also pay immense attention to detail.
In SA in particular, women have risen to the challenges in various portfolios within print, which was previously a male-dominated arena. Armed with our ability to multi-task, as well as prioritise, we have aspiring entrepreneurs amongst us. Several visionaries have boldly stepped in to lead and I do believe that more investment in women should be a priority to have more diversity and inclusivity. Women have also shown consistency in their drive to excel and perform, as well as ensure profitability. Women certainly display budget and saving acumen both in the home and workplace and as a single mum, I am a testament to that. Together, women support, and collaborate, despite us being our hardest critics. Hence, we are a force to be reckoned with when we are empowered through investment.
