I exist in all spaces where people seek to improve or advance their sales and marketing careers. I am here to mentor and coach any person who sees a horizon they wish to attain and needs some strategic assistance to get there.
What investments have you made in your professional career development?
I have read endless books on subjects that I think will help me and my community thrive. I have attended events that bring me into the orbit of thought leaders, influencers, and creative problem solvers. I have made it my mission to be a speaker who can connect with audiences on topics that are relevant and will allow people and companies to keep innovating and making things better for their companies, clients, and careers.
What investments have you made in your personal development?
I am an avid runner, reader, and lover of movies, so any chance I get to move, devour a great book, or see a film that can move me, I am there! I have set an intention to begin longer distance running again, and am running an all-women’s trail race 10K in April.
How can the industry proactively invest in women, and why should this be a priority?
The industry should commit to not only hiring more women for ALL roles, but commit to creating more opportunities for advancement, leadership, and decision-making for women. There needs to be more investment in training and development, and more intention put into practice when onboarding and developing new people. More attention should also be directed at creating a culture of inclusion and equity concerning advancement and pay. This could also include diversity training for all members of a company’s team.
