What do you do?
I am the Business Development, Operations and Sales Manager for UCSF. I assist departments with their offset, digital printing, copy machines and printers. I work with departments to ensure the branding colors and identity of logos, fonts and layouts are following approved guidelines.
What investments have you made in your professional career development?
I invest in my career by using learning opportunities on LinkedIn, adult education classes, and learning centers. Never stop learning or thinking outside the box. Continue to invest in yourself and your strengths. Leadership opportunities, helping others, mentoring. Join groups that have the same likes and interests, including social media sites.
What investments have you made in your personal development?
I continue to invest in myself by reading books and listening to podcasts. Volunteer for organizations, churches, and clubs. Set goals and celebrate milestones.
How can the industry proactively invest in women, and why should this be a priority?
We can continue by offering learning opportunities, classes, and mentorship programs. By providing more ways to learn, we can continue to grow our community and learn from each other.
