It chose me, though it was love at first stamp! (I started as a rubber stamp maker)
How do you establish credibility with customers, colleagues and bosses?
I’m my own boss, but for customers and colleagues I simply use my e-mail signature – it leads to my website and social media accounts where they can see who I am and what I do.
What advice can you offer regarding negotiating salary raises/ addressing fair pay issues?
First step: acknowledge the value of your work.
Communicate it to your boss/client.
Confidently ask for the price you truly believe you deserve.
Make sure to constantly practice it.
You become a professional, you’re happy with the work that you do,
clients are happy (= they keep coming back) =
you’re doing a great job – you deserve to get paid accordingly!
