How do you help customers and partners succeed with their print and marketing endeavors?

I use my 8+ years of experience in the commercial printing industry to educate my clients on the best materials and products to engage their audience. Print is another form of communication and I guide them to keep a unified brand voice to offer a strong and cohesive message. I have also helped clients with larger teams deep dive into the full branding and printing process. When I was working directly in the commercial print space, my goal was to connect clients with the best possible process and materials to make their design and messaging make the best impact. I have continued to develop this consultative approach by offering a Print 101 course to connect all teams that have a hand in producing visual media and print – from project managers to designers to sales teams to manage. When the team has a unified approach with a technical understanding of the process, they will feel empowered to make decisions that make sense. I love connecting teams with solutions!

What ONE word describes your professional mission for 2023 – and why?

Spark! I started my consulting business with the goal of aligning my interests with my skills and experiences. I now see that this intersection is my “spark” that is keeping me energized and focused. I apply this perspective to all of my projects. I have started a podcast called The Unconventional Spark to highlight and share the stories of professionals who have taken the road less traveled on their journey to success. I am also co-founder of The Unconventional Spark Networking Group which will offer relationship-building opportunities and informational articles and links to other organizations, processes, and media (books/podcasts/workshops/etc.) to inspire many more people to find their spark to success. The community aims to connect individuals who have followed their own unique paths to success and provide a platform to share experiences, insights and tips on navigating the professional landscape. We believe that everyone has a story to tell, and by sharing our journeys, we can inspire others to take the road less traveled and achieve their dreams.
