How do you help customers and partners succeed with their print and marketing endeavors?
With my 20+ years of print experience, I have seen lots of trends and gained so much knowledge just by asking questions. I have always been creative so I had my eye set on design and photography. I entered college thinking I was going to be a photographer and I left with a degree in Graphic Design. As a young adult, I have wonderful mentors that encouraged me to be involved and stay curious. I quickly fell in love with print. I did Graphic Design and prepress for a number of years. I applied paper knowledge, and printing techniques dabbled with new trends and worked closely to develop client relationships. Fast forward 20 years I learned that I have a real knack for people and sharing my printing and marketing knowledge. It was then that I realized customer service and marketing were an even better fit. I use all of that old knowledge to help my teammates and customers to better themselves and gain an overall picture rather than tunnel vision. Knowing how processes work, the cost, and the materials that it takes all help me guide my clients on their best use of time, and budget and get the most out of it. I have time and experience that I can share to help my customer succeed.
What ONE word describes your professional mission for 2023 – and why?
Determined! I am always determined to make the most out of a situation. If it is something that I do not know, I will gain the knowledge and be successful. I never stop learning, I learn new things daily and it helps keep me Sharpe and focused. I am a champion!
