What do you do?

As a Senior Print Producer at Snowball, I help customers run successful, creative, data-driven direct mail programs at scale. It’s my responsibility to help create marketing plans that hit performance goals and make sure they arrive on time, stay under budget, and that a high-quality DM piece gets delivered.

With a degree in Graphic Communication and over seven years of experience working at print shops and print-focused agencies, I bring a blend of technical expertise, excellent customer service, and creative thinking to every project.

What investments have you made in your professional career development?

Some of the ways I’ve invested in my professional development are attending workshops and webinars that are relevant to print, direct mail, and inclusivity. I aim to find speakers whom I admire and who come from diverse backgrounds.

As someone in a growth mindset, I also attend webinars on subjects I want to learn more about like data strategy, supply chain, and sustainability. I have also been lucky enough to attend college career fairs where I spread the word about Snowball and network with students, professors, and other industry professionals.

What investments have you made in your personal development?

I prioritize self-reflection and introspection to identify areas for improvement and actively work on personal growth. I also consistently ask for feedback to ensure I can be working on the best version of myself. In my free time, I also work in a few different mentorship programs that provide skills, support, and guidance to college students in our field.

How can the industry proactively invest in women, and why should this be a priority?

Our industry should offer more supplemental training, mentorship programs, and leadership development initiatives specifically tailored to women’s needs, empowering them to advance in their careers. Women are starting to make up a significant part of decision-makers in the print and marketing industries so having diverse representation ensures that the industry can better understand and meet the needs of its very diverse customer base. If the industry can make sure that the businesses that work within it treat women with respect, and make sure our ideas are valued and heard, the future is bright.
