What do you do?

Currently, I’m a Sr. Account Executive at Racami, a hybrid communications management software company that’s been in the Print & Mail space for the last 15 years.

I work with new and existing clients to map out how our software and professional services can solve their business challenges to increase efficiencies, drive down costs, and help them grow into new revenue streams.

It’s an exhilarating position where we get to work with clients and partners on finding solutions that help Print Service Providers and In-Plants forge ahead into the next era of automation and process improvement. I don’t think there’s a day that goes by where I’m not on a call with a partner or a client where we’ve pulled up a digital white-board to collaboratively map out their current IT environment and workflow processes, and discover the most innovative ways to add value to their organization.

What investments have you made in your professional career development?

In June of 2023, I started an MBA program with Texas A&M – Texarkana. I’m working towards my MBA with an emphasis in Leadership & Management. My goal is to ultimately lead and coach highly successful teams of people who are excited to come to work, collaboratively problem solve, attack goals as a team, and continuously teach each other/ask hard questions that force us to think and expand our worldview.  Ideally, that will take place in the print & communications industry that I’ve quickly come to fall in love with over the last year!

What investments have you made in your personal development?

In January 2024, I joined a local pottery studio in San Diego, California. This newfound hobby has not only become a fun creative pursuit but also a remarkably meditative refuge in my busy life. As a woman in tech, with aspirations of leadership, I recognize the importance of cultivating spaces that foster contemplation. At the pottery studio, I’ve found space to give my mind permission to freely ponder current challenges and allow my thoughts to intertwine, innovate, and ultimately enrich the ideas I bring back to the office. And at the end of the day, if I can do that while also making a few new vases, what’s not to love?!

How can the industry proactively invest in women, and why should this be a priority?

This industry is being forced to adapt, react, and transform to meet the evolving needs of the market. New and innovative perspectives are what’s needed if companies in this industry are going to survive, much less grow. I believe diversity, at its core, will usher in new ideas and perspectives to make this happen. Women are one key slice of this diversity pie!
