Did you choose print or did print choose you?
I was lucky print chose me, I joined a recruitment company in 2005 and was put in the print division and ended up heading the division up. I have worked recruiting in the print industry ever since and now specialise in recruiting with Digital Inkjet companies in the UK, Europe, and America.
How do you establish credibility with customers, colleagues and bosses?
Credibility is established through building relationships, doing what you say you will do and being honest.
What advice can you offer regarding negotiating salary raises/addressing fair pay issues?
Salary is one piece of the puzzle and a total package should be tailored to an individual. Each person has individual needs for one holidays may be more important and another pension etc. Regarding negotiating salary raises this needs to be fair across the team and reviewed on a regular basis I would suggest 6 months rather than a year.
What advice did you receive early in your career that you wished you had followed?
Don’t worry as no amount of worrying will change anything and most of the worries never happen.
