Did you choose print or did print choose you?
I chose print through my passion for journalism. From a young age, I was always captivated by books and magazines and loved flicking through pages and smelling a printed product (I have yet to read an e-book!). When I was in my teens – because I was very much into the ‘90s pop culture for a couple of years – I was super keen in becoming a writer for a Women’s magazine, which was my reason for pursuing an education in media and journalism. I then started my career in both print and online and fast forward 10 years or so and am still in print and online – and the bonus is I write about the print industry now!
How do you establish credibility with colleagues, clients and bosses?
I get my message across in a professional way. I’m transparent with my thoughts and ideas and communicate them across – honesty is the best policy.

I do want to keep producing for print publications for as long as I can. The Intermedia Group publishes about 30 print titles, most them being B2B, with a print readership in excess of 800,000 professionals. And as an author for a print-related publication, I aim to keep supporting the print industry with the most relevant print and visual communications news.
