Did you choose print or did print choose you?

Print chose me. I was working as the Director of Catering in a restaurant that also held banquets. Two of the regulars that came in were soon to be my new bosses at a company that distributed all types of flexible films. I wasn’t looking for a new career at the time, but what they presented me with was such a great opportunity to learn and grow professionally. It turns out that they were right!

How do you establish credibility with colleagues, clients and bosses?

I like to think that I am very proactive instead of reactive. I place a lot of value in my word, and I follow through on my promises and respond to customers as quickly as possible. My experience in the industry has also proved beneficial in helping solve our customers’ biggest problems. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll give it my best to find the solution!

In 50 words or less, tell us your mission for elevating Print this year.

When I started in the industry 12 years ago, roles for women weren’t as prevalent as they are today. Print is still a growing industry, especially in the markets that S-OneLP serves. The print on a package tells a story, hopefully, one that appeals to the consumer, and we offer many great products to help the converter achieve this appeal.
