School teaches tools and creativity; it does not teach collaboration. Success means working collaboratively with all stakeholders across the organization. Take time to get to know the other teams, sales, design, marketing, procurement, finance. Understanding their goals can help you align projects faster.
How have mentors helped your personal and career development?
I have had some fabulous mentors in my career, and almost all men. They have brought humor to bad days and guidance that allowed me to execute what was best for the business.
